Ovoid vase with 2 openings, wood-fired at Pincus Pottery Studio (Skyline Kiln). Approx. 10" Ht.

I threw this closed form, trimmed away the excess clay, and then cut out 2 holes to allow it to function as a vase. It was loaded into the wood kiln laying on its side, and this resulted in the ash glaze running laterally around the body of the vase. Has applied ash glaze and sea shell marks where it sat in the kiln..
